Jayant Bhanushali
Chief Scientific Officer
  • Dr. Bhanushali took his Ph. D in Immunology from University of Georgia, Athens, GA, USA and has served as consultant to Ortho Diagnostic Systems, India and Diamedix Corporation, USA. 
  • He personally developed Chinese Cry1Ac- specific ELISA and Cry1EC- specific ELISA kits which are unique and available exclusively from Amar Immunodiagnostics. He has over 25 years of hands-on experience in developing Immunoassay test kits. 
  • He is currently at work developing PCR and Immunoassay – based kits for GMO Testing.
  • His interests include history, world politics and music.
Priti B
Finance Manager
Priti heads the Finance function. A commerce graduate with a diploma in journalism, she is a poet and has won numerous awards in public speaking. She is a member of the Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI). She believes in the power of education and teaches street children in her time off work.
Head of Accounts
Lata manages the accounting functions and ensures that the supply chain run smoothly. When she’s not doing the number crunching, she enjoys watching television, experimenting with new dishes in the kitchen and taking long rides on a bike.
G. Seetha
Lab Manager
Seetha  is in charge of day to day operations of the lab and has over 14 years of hands on experience in managing the laboratory. She is expert in monoclonal antibodies as well as ELISA kit development. Her attention to details and willingness to learn new things makes her important member of the laboratory team.

Dr. William L. Ragland III
  • Dr. Ragland is the President of Zagreb Biotek, Croatia.
  • A Professor Emeritus of the University of Georgia, USA, he has developed the first ever cancer vaccine to be approved by a US Agency, has acquired seven patents and has published more than 250 scientific papers. 
  • He was awarded the Lord Baron de Botetourt Prize by the College of William and Mary, Virginia, USA in 1952.
  • He is a consultant to many reputed organizations including Bioniche Life Sciences Inc., Canada, Merieux Laboratories, France, the Ministry of Agriculture - the Republic of Montenegro, Roche Diagnostics Inc, USA, Texas Research and Technology Foundation, USA and Vetrepharm Ltd, UK. 
  • He is also a member of, among others, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, International Academy of Pathology, American Association of Immunologists, Croatian Immunology Society, Croatian Microbiology Society, Society for Interferon and Cytokine Research and International Society for Developmental and Comparative Immunology. 
  • He is currently working on developing a non-antibiotic growth promoter for chickens, a novel cancer assay and immune system diagnostic assays.
  • For Dr. Ragland, science is not just work, it’s his passion. He is also an amateur writer of fiction and loves whipping up something in the kitchen when he gets time off from his work.

Dr. S. Sivaramakrishnan
  • Dr. Sivaramakrishnan was the Head of the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology at the College of Agriculture, Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University, Hyderabad, India.
  • Earlier, as a Senior Scientist at the United Nations sponsored International Crop Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), he initiated the set-up of the Applied Genomics Lab and was instrumental in developing the Radioisotope Laboratory. 
  • He has also worked at the Katholieke Universities, Belgium and University of California, Davis, USA. Dr. Sivaramakrishnan has reviewed research projects for AP-Netherlands Biotechnology Programme and Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
  • He also served as a resource person in the UNESCO sponsored regional workshop on Biotechnology in University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He was awarded the prestigious “Frosty” Hill Agricultural Research Fellowship by the Institute for Genomic Diversity, Cornell University, NY, USA for the year 2001. 
  • He also won the award for the Best Published Article by the Phytopathological Society of India for the year 2004 based on publications in the Indian J. Phytopathology. 
  • He has published almost 50 articles in International journals. His areas of research interest are Structural and Functional Genomics, Host –pathogen interaction at molecular level and Comparative Genome Mapping.
Dr. Gurinder Jit Randhawa
  • Dr. Randhawa is the Principal Scientist at the National Research Centre on DNA Fingerprinting, National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, New Delhi. 
  • She is a Commonwealth Fellow and did her Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Dundee and Scottish Crop Research Institute, Scotland, United Kingdom. 
  • She was one of the key persons involved in the establishment of the National Containment Facility (level 4) and GM detection laboratory at the Centre. She has developed novel PCR-based GM diagnostic kits. The Department of Biotechnology, Government of India has designated her laboratory as a Referral Centre for Molecular Diagnosis of Transgenic Planting Materials. 
  • She is a life member of the Society for Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Indian Society of Plant Genetic Resources, Indian Science Congress Association and The Indian Potato Association. She has more than 60 research papers published in International and National Journals and has four Indian patents to her name.
